usage. She has a
fully jointed
body which means
she has jointed
upper arms,
elbows, and
knees. Her
accessories
include blossoms
that are sewn
onto the dress,
net with real
shells
hand-painted in
gold and
iridescent pink.
Mera is wearing
her net as a
veil in her
hair. Her wig is
human hair, semi
hand-knotted
with a loose
hair plait.
Multi coloured
strands of hair
are worked into
the wig and the
loose plait.
Princess Mera
wears her hair
all the way down
to her hips. Her
eyes are
mouth-blown
glass eyes, made
in Germany. She
has special
‘Atlantis
underwater’ face
paint in gold
and her clothes
and shoes are an
exclusive
Himstedt design.
Mera wears a
pair of trousers
under her
wedding gown
that features
hand-dyed
hand-crocheted
lace that
matches in
colour. Her
wedding gown
features a
6-layered tulle
skirt with
several frills
on each of the
skirts. The
blossoms on
Mera’s camisole,
her cuff-sleeves
and the skirt
pockets are
hand-painted in
the manufactory
with iridescent
metallic paints
onto the
fabrics.
